Here at Friesians Scotland, we are dedicated to breeding, training and competing Friesian and Barock Pinto horses. Located in beautiful Perthshire, Scotland, we always aim to have a selection of quality Friesian and Barock Pinto horses for sale, from foals and youngsters to well-established riding horses. If we don't have exactly what you're looking for, we can help you find your perfect Friesian or Barock Pinto partner!
If you'd like to visit us and meet some of our horses, we welcome spectators to join us for a few special events held here each year, including the UK's only Friesian Horse Show and the UK Barock Pinto Gradings. Check out our News & Events page for full details on our upcoming events.
Experts in Friesian horse training
Friesians Scotland is renowned for training and producing Friesian horses and Barock Pintos under saddle. We are often the first port of call for advice and coaching when it comes to training and breed-specific traits or challenges. Having backed and produced hundreds of Friesian horses, many for successful careers in dressage, we are the most experienced yard in the UK for training this breed.
Why the Friesian and Barock Pinto breeds?
Oscar was Janine's first Friesian stallion and the reason we fell in love with the Friesian breed. Until Oscar, we had only admired Friesians for their outstanding beauty and movement to match. Now we admire them for their amazingly gentle temperament, ability to learn and their eagerness to please. We are delighted to find the same temperament, grace and athleticism in our Barock Pinto stallions too.

We aim to always have a selection of wonderful Friesian and Barock Pinto horses for sale, from foals and young stock to well-established riding horses, dressage partners, happy hackers and family friends. If we don't have exactly the type of horse you're looking for, we can offer our help to find your perfect match. Whether that's a happy hacker, a dressage horse, a Friesian for driving or an all-round family friend.
