"Achilles FS" becomes the first British born and bred Friesian to gain the KFPS sport predicate. Thanks to his fabulous owner Sarah McLean and all of her work in training Achilles over the years. I am so happy for Sarah and very proud that one of our home-bred horses has become the first British bred horse to achieve the title 🤩

Achilles is the son of a ster stallion 'Tjobe T' who was also a talented dressage horse, competing at elementary level and regularly in the reds with super high scores. Achilles was bred with dressage in mind, so it is wonderful to see him realising his potential in the very capable hands of Sarah.
"A lovely email this morning from the KFPS (Friesian stud book) to say that Batman has been awarded his Sport Predicate.
Only 4 other horses in the UK have ever been awarded this and he is the first and only British bred Friesian on the register.
"I love these horses and I will never have anything else, so I’m dead keen that they are seen to be more “sporty” than they perhaps have been in the past. They also have the most amazing personalities 🖤
Hats off to Janine O'Connor at Friesians Scotland for her continued dedication to improving the breed."
