Shop Terms And Conditions

When you make a purchase from this website, you are indicating that you agree to be bound by our terms and conditions (your statutory rights are not affected) so please ensure that you read them carefully. We reserve the right to revise these terms and conditions at any time without notice. It is up to you to ensure that you regularly review and reprint them for your records where necessary.

To make a purchase, browse our store and add any items that you wish to buy to the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details necessary for us to be able to process your order.

Credit card payments will be processed when the order is placed. Should the computer software fail to add on any clearly stated additions in price during processing, these will be added manually. If goods cannot be supplied for any reason we will contact you and you will not be charged for the items ordered. If you have already been charged we will immediately refund the total amount you have paid (including any delivery charges).

When the confirmation of an order is received, this does not indicate that a contract exists between us. This is to simply indicate that we have received your order. .

All shop items below £20.00 are subject to postage and packaging fees of £2.50 which will be added at checkout. Most items will be sent with recorded delivery. Delivery will be made by courier or royal mail, therefore delivery arrival time can not be guaranteed. Prices are for UK delivery only. Anyone outwith the U.K should make an enquiry through the website to make separate delivery arrangements.

All prices are in British pounds and include the relevant taxes for the UK where applicable.
Any customs or import duties due when your order reaches its destination country are your
responsibility.

We have the right to make alterations to the prices in the following circumstances:
On rare occasions the cost of the product may have increased but not updated on the website, taxes may have not been included in the price, or they may have changed. If such circumstances arise we will inform you immediately and prior to dispatch to ensure you still wish to purchase at the revised cost.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for goods if it has been listed at the incorrect price due to a typographical error, or the price from our suppliers, tax or duty office was incorrect when our price was published.

All products offered for sale on this website are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time, colours may also change. Pictures used are for illustration only and although we endeavour to be as accurate as possible, they may differ slightly from the actual product supplied.
Some items may be shipped direct to you from our supplier in order for you to receive your chosen items as quickly as possible, meaning that you may receive your order in separate parts, but will not incur any additional carriage charges.

Despatch of goods will normally be within 2 working days, however, should we need to send the order in more than one despatch you will only be charged postage once.

The services we use cannot be 100% guaranteed by us. You may be entitled to a partial refund of postage if the service fails and we can successfully claim from the carrier on your behalf. The majority of orders require a signature on delivery, so please let us know where it is convenient for us to deliver – e.g. perhaps a work address or neighbour. (Please quote your home address for authorisation of credit cards). We reserve the right to charge for any costs incurred by us if the parcel is ultimately returned to us after a reasonable number of unsuccessful attempts have been made to deliver the goods to you ( you will be refunded the cost of the items you ordered from us less our costs and a 30% restocking fee). Goods can then be resent to an alternative address at further cost to you.

On delivery, you must check that you are receiving the correct number of parcels which you are signing for and ensure that you make a note if there appears to be any damage to the parcels, on the consignment note. Please make sure you open your parcel immediately and carefully check the contents, as you must inform us of any damaged or incorrectly sent goods within 3 working days (janinemason@hotmail.co.uk) of delivery . Include in your email details of the damage, your name and address, the date or order.

We will not accept liability for goods lost in transit unless we are notified within 7 working days from the expected delivery date (this is taken to be 2 working days from the advised date of despatch for standard delivery, 1 working day for next day delivery option).
However, if non-delivery is possible due to incorrect delivery details e.g. address/post code we are under no obligation to replace these items.

Goods returned to us undelivered by either our courier or royal mail will incur further

charges which could be in the region of up to £15.00, plus the original carriage costs to you.

As we have no control over the use of products supplied, by the end user, we cannot accept any liability howsoever caused, nor do we accept any consequential liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of the products we supply.

Nothing in the above Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights.

Friesians Scotland do not disclose buyers information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Refunds will be made for any item, minus our postage and packing costs, that are returned in their original packaging (at customer’s own expense), unused and undamaged within 14 days of delivery. Refunds can take up to 28 days to be processed. Unfortunately we cannot refund opened or partially used items. PLEASE NOTE that riding hats/skull caps are non-returnable as they are safety items and once they have left us can not be guaranteed undamaged on their return (this does not affect your statutory rights).

Pack your items carefully to avoid damage and enclose a covering letter. Please ensure goods are insured against loss or damage. Postage will be charged at cost for any exchanges need to be sent. We will not be held responsible for any goods not received or damaged in transit.
Orders of non stock items (indicated on the website), special orders or made to measure purchases are non-refundable. This does not affect your statutory rights
If an item is faulty it must be returned to us for inspection and if necessary we will forward it to the Manufacturers for testing, before replacement goods or a refund can be issued.
