Scottish Endurance Riding Club – Argyll branch

We had a great day yesterday on a 20k pleasure ride up at Glencoe. It has to be the most scenic drive that I have had in a horse lorry, it is such a stunning part of Scotland and for anyone seeking peace and tranquillity then this is the place to be! The ride it’s self was a pretty tough one in that it was very stony throughout which resulted in one of our horses getting bruised soles unfortunately. There were lots of little bridges and water filled ditches etc so plenty to keep us all awake and never time to become bored. I loved the views from start to finish and will definitely go back to another Argyll ride.

The atmosphere was lovely, calm and relaxed and it really was a pleasure to take part in a ride set in such beautiful surroundings. Oscar must have felt the same as he had his best heart rate to date at the post- ride vetting.
