Scams

Date posted: 18th February 2013

Scams involving Friesian’s seem to be on the rise again at the moment and a lot of these people are/have been using my adverts and pictures of horses for sale, claiming they own the horse and offering them for loan or sale. Please be aware that no one has permission to use any of my photos of horses for sale, I never sell through any third party and all horses being sold by me are with me in Perthshire. One person in particular to watch out for on facebook at the moment is a ‘Mac Sarah’ who seems to be advertising my horses on various facebook pages and seriously low prices. Many of these scammers give sob stories and try to get you to give a deposit or simply pay the transport to get your £500 dressage horse (which obviously will never arrive as they don’t actually have a horse to sell).

If it looks too good to be true then it probably is, good and well trained Friesian horses are not sold for peanuts so do be careful about handing money over without seeing the horse in the flesh. Do remember that no one has permission to use pictures of me, my horses or adverts to sell or loan any horse anywhere!
