The Scottish Grass Sickness ShowPublished on Friday 26th February 2010The Scottish Grass Sickness Show Grass sickness is such a devastating disease which causes such suffering to horses and many deaths year after year. There is still very little known about the disease, there is no prevention and no cure. To watch a horse suffering and literally dying in front of your eyes, knowing there is nothing that you can do to help is absolutely heartbreaking. I was so pleased to learn that a lady named Jean Smith has gone to the effort of creating a show in aid of the equine grass sickness fund charity in order to help with research. The show will be held on the 6th June 2010 at Blairgowrie, Perthshire.
