Marise and Kuis

Date posted: 21st October 2012

As some of you are aware, I do also take Friesians in for backing/training. I had the pleasure of working with Kuis recently and pleased to hear him and his mum are getting on well together.

“Dear Janine,
I would just like to thank you for the work you did with my young Friesian Kuis who as you know I had considerable difficulty getting to stand still to be mounted. I cannot believe the difference in him both in terms of being mounted and the schooling that you did to eradicate some of the difficult behaviour he showed whilst being ridden. Unaware of your service I had sent him away to be rebacked and schooled for seven weeks elsewhere with little success. I was advised to sell him by several people including the person who tried to back him. However after two weeks with yourself I see a huge improvement in him and he is now a pleasure to ride. I have no problem getting him to stand and he waits patiently until asked to walk on. I hope we can now forge a good partnership together based on the foundation of work you did with him.
I also really appreciated the regular updates, photos and the video of his progress. Every aspect of your service was first class and I would have no hesitation in recommending Friesians Scotland to others who may be experiencing some difficulties with their horse. I particularly appreciated your honesty when I asked you if he needed to stay longer you said no. It would have been easy to to take my money but you did exactly what was needed to meet my requirements. However  I also know that I can come back to yourself with confidence should I need any further advice on how to bring him on. Many thanks once again for all your help.
