Lee and Vinnie

Yesterday I recieved an up date on one of the youngsters who was bought from Friesians Scotland by Lee from Shetland. Vinnie is a two year old gelding and is turning out to be a very good example of the breed both with his conformation and his nature.

“Just to let you know Vinnie and I went on our first outing to the local county show last week (its the biggest show in Shetland). When we arrived he was a little sharp and fidgety, not standing still and looking at everything. He soon settled and was quite happy looking around, taking everything in and munching his hay. There were only two classes we could do other breeds in hand and best presented horse. Vinnie did superbly, stood for the judge, walked away and then trotted around the ring with a lot of enthusiasm and energy! he came 3rd in the in hand class! We had a super day and I was so happy and proud of my boy!
I am really glad I chose Vinnie, he always has a twinkle in his eye and really seems to cope with almost anything and he is very willing to please.
