Kaiya and Janine

In June this year I wrote about a lady named Kaiya who had bought one of my very best Friesian mares named Janine. At that point Kaiya was getting on well with Janine and seemed to be gaining confidence riding again.

I am sure Kaiya will not mind me saying that she was very nervous when she came to meet my horses. She is the most nervous person that I have had out to ride a horse, normally I recommend that nervous riders take lessons at a local riding school to gain confidence before thinking of buying a horse. However, I thought that this particular mare would be perfect for Kaiya as she was well trained and such a good natured horse who took care of her rider.

Last week Kaiya sent me another up date and I am absolutely delighted to learn that Kaiya has built up such a great bond with Janine and gained enough confidence to start competing in Dressage. This is wonderful news and I would just like to say very well done Kaiya!

Janine is such a good example of the Friesian breed with her fantastic nature, it is horses like her who give the breed such a good reputation and I am so, so proud of her!
