Friesian show update

Date posted: 11th June 2014

There will be a few changes to the classes for this years show.

We are now going to include another in hand class  “Best of British” and is open to purebred Friesian horses who have been born in Britain. It will run immediately after class 7 (horses formely of Friesians Scotland) and before class 8 (best mane and tail). Please make sure that passports are brought along to the show so that we can double check the place of birth in case this is brought into question. If you would like to pre enter this one please just put a note on the entry form stating the name “Best of British” as it does not have a number and at this stage I can not alter class numbers. Entries on the day for this class will be the same price as pre entries as it is a late addition.

*BEST OF BRITISH IN HAND – Open to mares, geldings and stallions of any age, must be purebred and born in Britain.

For the third year running we have had no support for the partbred classes even though we have been requested by several people to include classes for partbreds for this years show. Please be aware if we do not have any pre entries this time we will be removing all partbred classes from this years show as well as from future shows.

Spectator tickets are available now and if purchased in advance of the show they are £5.00 per person, please send cheque made payable to “Friesian horse club UK” to Peattie farm, Coupar Angus, Perthshire, PH13 9LH. Tickets purchased on the day are £10.00 per person.
