Danielle and Renske

I was so very pleased to have an email sent to me a few days ago from Danielle who had bought a Friesian mare from me six months ago, named Renske. Danielle came to me looking for a horse after the rather tragic loss of her Friesian mare, It was a bit of a bitter sweet experience for Danielle coming here as she was still very upset at the loss of her mare and could see a lot of similarities in Renske.

Renske was my little angel, I adored this horse and as with many of my friesians I really would have liked to keep her but I did feel that she would be such a good horse for Danielle and I was equally certain that Renske would have a good and permanent home with Danielle. Thank goodness this story does have a happy ending and the two are getting on well together.

Hope all is well up north. Thought id let you know how Renskes doing. She is looking brilliant, I turned her out for the summer a few weeks ago and she is loving it, she loves nothing more than spending hours lying in the sun fast asleep, we can hear her snoring from far away. We have lessons once a week I wouldnt say she enjoys the hard work involved (neither do I ) but, she does her best no matter what.
We had our first dressage competition a couple of weeks ago and won with an excellent score of 72%, I could not have been happier with my little girly.
