Alaina and Nero

“Hey Janine, I just wanted to send you a wee update on how Nero is doing. I can honestly say I have never met a horse as lovely. He is  anything I could ever wish for in a horse,  and more. He behaves impeccably no matter what we throw at him, whether a wee trailer, tied up for hot shoeing, clipping,  teeth rasped, jags, hacking through “scary” forests, belly high in ponds.. you name it! and as long as I tell him its ok, he completely trusts me and goes along with it.
He is forward and fun, never a plod, yet never puts a foot wrong, such a super star! We have started our Dressage lessons now, and he picks it all up so fast, and really tries as hard as he can to get it right.  Hopefully we will begin competing this winter, Ill let you know how we get on!

Everyone who has seen him has fallen in love with him, I even let my mum have a wee shot on him ( she isnt super confident – but he made her feel so relaxed). My Dressage instructor loves him, told me that he has a wonderful ” rider preservation” disposition, in that if the rider makes a mistake, he will check if you are ok before proceeding. I love that in him, that he seeks his confidence from the rider, and as long as you say it is fine, he will try his heart out to get it right.

Anything he needs he will have, and  lovely secure future ahead of him. If you are ever passing through and want to say hello to him, let me know, as i’d love to show you how happy he is.
